Now here’s the second part of our boring sky problem and we are back to the Lueneburg Heath, but this time with some impressions of its landscape.

The Lueneburg Heath, situated in Lower Saxony in North Germany, is a real interesting place to visit and to spend holidays there. There are lots of things to discover: the landscape with the heath and the woods, the rivers and lakes/ponds, the towns like e.g. Lueneburg, the little villages with all the half-timbered houses and so on. It was beautiful warm weather but most of the time there wasn’t any beautiful sky, just something above us looking like a compact slightly grey mass – no clouds, no colo(u)rs, no real structures, nothing at all. But in travel photography one often doesn’t have the chance to wait for the day with the best photo conditions possible. So over here I’d like to show you first, what can be done at the location directly, in spite of an absolutely boring sky above you when you are on a photowalk and planning to do some architecture photography.
